Meanwhile, Dr. Fuentes emphasized that every new DepEd building is a blessing, especially in light of the many resource gaps the DepEd faces.
She called on partners, especially Governor Uy, to continue supporting the DepEd in advancing the lives of learners and communities in Zamboanga del Norte through quality education.
In response, Governor Uy described the new division office as a powerful symbol of commitment, progress, and hope for learners and for all who believe in the power of education to transform lives.
“This building stands not only as a physical space for administration but as a pillar of our shared aspiration for a better future,” he said.
He further underscored the importance of unity and collaboration in uplifting the quality of life in Zamboanga del Norte, inviting everyone to work together under a renewed vision for the province.
Introducing a new banner of unity, Gov. Uy declared: “Kuyog ta sa bag-ong Zamboanga del Norte.”
He then concluded his message with a resounding call: “One DepEd, One Zamboanga del Norte! Kuyog Ta!”
