Officials from the Schools Division of Dapitan City paid a courtesy visit to Dapitan City Mayor Evelyn T. Uy today, July 1, to present key plans and initiatives to strengthen basic education in the city.

Leading DepEd Dapitan delegation was Dr. Jay S. Montealto, Officer-in-Charge of the Office of Schools Division Superintendent, joined by Mr. Aurelio A. Santisas, Assistant Schools Division Superintendent.

Also present were Dr. Vicente Jose V. Suarez, Chief Education Supervisor for the Curriculum Implementation Division; Mr. Sherlito E. Sagapsapan, Chief Education Supervisor for the School Governance and Operations Division; and Mr. Johann Andrei A. Ladera, Education Program Specialist II for Social Mobilization and Networking.

The visit underscored DepEd Dapitan’s efforts to strengthen collaboration with the local government to improve education services, enhance learning outcomes, and support the overall development of learners in Dapitan City.
